If you’re after a wild party, it’s all in the neighbourhood: the unique A38-ship, a crazy floating bar, a professional underground concert venue, voted to be the greatest bar of the world (we are not exaggerating! see Lonely Planet), Budapest Park a newly built, modern concert place with 5 different music stages and the Barba Negra Track (For details, please ask the receptionists.) Those after cultural adventures find the prestigious contemporary art Ludwig Museum right in our backyard as well as the Palace of Arts and also the impressive Hungarian National Theatre. Nearby the Trafó House of Contemporary Arts has temporary collections. Hungary’s darker past is documented in the Holocaust Memorial Center a heart-striking presentation with a personal touch of family tragedies colouring dry facts of history.
