Maverick Hostel & Ensuites is located in the heart of the city in a renovated royal mansion built by the Habsburg dynasty, the Maverick Hostel is open to guests in its original magnificence. For our guests, we made the hostel to feel like home. If you book a room in our hostel, you will have a warm welcome from our lovely staff who offers really special deals and important bits of information.
Our hostel in Budapest offers both private rooms with up to 4 beds and 4, 5, 6 and 10-bed dorms. Solo travellers, groups of friends, couples or families can all find a room which suits their needs the best. Rooms combine modern design and historical style. Take bus 5, 7, 7A, 8, 112 or 178 till Ferenciek tere. After you got off the bus, go backwards to the metro’s underpath and cross the road (Kossuth Lajos utca). As you come up from the underpath, take the stairs on your right (exit C). At the top of the stairs go straight for 50 meters. Our entrance a big green gate will be on the left, next to an exchange office right behind the bus stop.
OR - Take the subway line 2(red) to Deák tér, then change to line 3(blue) to Ferenciek tere. As you come up from the subway, take the stairs on your left (exit C). At the top of the stairs go straight for 50 meters. Our entrance a big green gate will be on the left, next to an exchange office right behind the bus stop. - Nyugati - 5min.

Airport
- Bus+metro - 40 min. Take bus 100E (airport bus) to Kálvin Square, then take the subway 3(blue) to Ferenciek tere. As you come up from the subway, take the stairs on your left (exit C). The area is home to many small streets originating in the Middle Ages, now offering a variety of culture, great restaurants, traditional coffee houses, bars. In addition, most of the city's tourist attractions are within a 15-minute walking distance, including the Danube River area, Buda Castle, Opera House and the famous ruined pubs. Many buses and metro station line 3 also stop next to our building, so public transportation will not be a problem either. Definitely one of the best hostels in Budapest.
