The Association of Youth Hostels in Hungary has been representing the interests of youth hostels, children’s camps and hostels since 1990. Hotels that want to play a more active role in shaping the fate of youth hostels, discussing professional issues, can join our organization freely.
With their membership, the hotels
They will be posted on our website, and we will offer them for the accommodation needs of our association.
They have the right to vote in general meetings.
They can attend our professional days and trainings.
They can actively participate in discussing professional issues and in formulating our professional positions.
Membership process
Our members are looking for high-quality, well-maintained, clean, tidy, safe accommodation, who really want to participate in the professional work and have a vision for the future of our segment, willing to spend time discussing professional issues. The membership of the hotels is decided by the Presidency
To apply for membership, you must complete the attached form and return it to the mailing address of our association:

Membership fee
The annual membership fee depends on the number of accommodation places and the location of the accommodation and increases in band. The membership fee is set out in the membership fee policy. When the presidency approves the admission of that member, the proportional share of the annual membership fee must be paid for that year, and the membership fee for the following years must always be settled by October 15 of the previous year.
